Product description

Specification:
Material: Ni-Cr-alloy steel.
Size: (L) x (W) 190 x 150 mm/approx. 7.48 x 5.51 inches (approx.)
Use:
1. If you do not cut off the pins on a roll, leave them on until the wire is crimped. Prepare the wire by stripping about 3mm (1/8") of insulation from the end.

Place the wire into the crimping pin and align it so that the stripped part is between the inner set of tabs on the crimping pin while the insulated wire is between the outer set of tabs.

2. If your crimping pins are too short for this method. An alternative can be found at the end of this guide.

Place the wire and crimping pin on the corresponding tooth of the tool die and make sure that the insulated end is on the raised and wider tooth half.

The tabs should point towards the cavity on the other side of the die so that the tool flexes it inward when closing the wire.

3. Close the jaws of the tool slowly and completely until they loosen.

The tabs on a properly crimped pin should form a cylinder around the wire conductors and another cylinder for strain relief around the wire insulation.

4. Alternatively, if the crimp pins are too short for this method (or not on a roll), snap the pin completely out of the holding strip.

Insert it into the correct slot of the crimping tool and ratchet the crimping tool so that it stays straight in place. Insert the wire from the other end and crimp it.
