Lo único que no pude hacerlo funcionas con pfsence por los controladores y probando con otros sistemas como Windows 10, 11 y server sin problema, ahora lo voy a probar con Linux y a ver cómo me va.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plug and Play 2.5Gbps card

Using this as part of a server build I have. This will allow me to run some devices to and from the server at 2.5 Gbps speeds.
The plan is to be able to manage the devices from the server building a router inside the server.
Plugged the device in - and the machine recognized it right away and was able to connect 4 devices to it and provide them with network connectivity

4.0 out of 5 stars All four ports work, fan is actually quiet

The GLOTRENDS Quad Port 2.5Gbps PCI-E NIC Ethernet Network Card looks like a pretty good deal if you are doing virtualization. It is great that it fits a half height bracket, but the material they made this one out of is not that great. It fit in a SFF case no issue, but there was some difficulty trying to plug a cable into the top port. I did iperf3 test against all ports, one at a time, and it is clearly passing 2.37 Gbps. I'm unable to test multiple ports, but if I find something different I'll update this review.

What is good is the fan seems quiet. The system fan is very quiet and I can hear it over the one on this card. Further, it worked under Windows 11 and Kubuntu Linux 22.04 with no problems, and the four ports had sequential MAC addresses. You never think that is a problem, but a different brand card I tested previously had two ports with the same MAC. That is something to keep an eye out for now, and this card passed with flying colors.

1.0 out of 5 stars Haven’t been able to get this to work with Win 7.

Install was easy so no problem there. However following the directions to d/l drivers for win7 and trying to get it to load the software with no luck. It goes thru all the motions and says it’s installed. Well NOTHING. Have had it too long to be able to return a defective item. So I’m out the cost. Will stick with better names in the future. Lesson learned!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightning-Fast Networking

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
If you're looking to supercharge your networking capabilities, the Quad Port 2.5Gbps PCI-E NIC Ethernet Network Card is an absolute game-changer. I recently upgraded my PC with this powerful network card, and it has transformed the way I experience connectivity, offering unparalleled speed and reliability.

First and foremost, the RTL8125BG chip at the heart of this network card is a true powerhouse. With support for four 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, it allows for lightning-fast data transfers, making lag and buffering a thing of the past. Whether it's streaming high-definition content, transferring large files, or engaging in online gaming, this network card delivers a seamless and responsive experience.

The PCI-Express 2.0 X2 interface ensures efficient data communication between the network card and your PC. This interface provides ample bandwidth to fully harness the capabilities of the RTL8125BG chip, ensuring optimal performance without any bottlenecks. The card is backward compatible with PCI-Express 1.0 as well, making it compatible with a wide range of systems.

The inclusion of four RJ45 LAN ports is a standout feature of this network card. These ports offer exceptional flexibility, allowing you to connect multiple devices directly to your PC without the need for additional switches or hubs. This feature is particularly advantageous for enthusiasts who require simultaneous connections to different devices, such as NAS drives, gaming consoles, or streaming devices.

Installation is a breeze thanks to the PCI-E form factor. Simply insert the card into an available PCI-E slot on your motherboard, and you're ready to go. The card is also compatible with a variety of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, ensuring widespread compatibility.

The overall build quality of this network card is commendable. The sturdy construction and robust components ensure longevity and durability, making it a reliable addition to any PC setup. The card operates at low power consumption as well, minimizing energy usage without compromising performance.

One consideration worth noting is that the Quad Port 2.5Gbps PCI-E NIC Ethernet Network Card requires a compatible switch or router to fully utilize its 2.5Gbps capability. If your network infrastructure is not yet upgraded to support these speeds, you may not experience the full potential of the card. However, it is future-proof, ensuring that you'll be ready when you upgrade your network in the future.

In conclusion, the Quad Port 2.5Gbps PCI-E NIC Ethernet Network Card is a game-changer in networking. With its powerful RTL8125BG chip, high-speed 2.5Gbps ports, seamless PCI-Express interface, and robust build quality, it delivers lightning-fast connectivity and unparalleled performance. Whether you're a gamer, a content creator, or a networking enthusiast, this network card will revolutionize your experience. Upgrade your PC and unlock the full potential of your network with this remarkable networking powerhouse.
