I did the first training session with my German Shepherd today and within 5 minutes she learned how to use it. In the second session we started moving the treat dispenser part further away from the button and she was able to press the button and run to the dispenser by herself. The only thing she still needs a bit of help with is coming back to the button after she eats treats. She doesn't fully understand that the cycle can be done multiple times. But that's only 10 minutes working on this so I am sure she will work it out tomorrow or the next day.
I like that there are 2 sounds to choose from on the button (we use sound 2 as it seems more unique and wouldn't happen in any other scenario). It's thothfull that they included 3 different ways of keeping the button in one position as dogs tend to try to pick it up. I am disappointed batteries were not included though (you need 3 AAA batteries and 4 huge batteries called 4C which will cost around AUD15-AUD20 extra). The container for treats is fair size, probably one cup worth of kibble and the scoop included is handy to put food inside.
I definitely recommend this product for energetic dogs that need more stimulation and activities at home. You can set the button at one end of the house and dispenser on the other (no more than 40metres) and the dog basically runs from one side to another. That helps a lot with that extra energy.
